Our non-invasive pipe replacement system can be done without digging up your property - saving your driveway, stonewall or flowerbed, as well as saving you money.   My business primary function is to locate and repair water leaks on water lines. I also locate other private utilities that are in the ground, or pipes that are in the ground. I use an ultrasonic listening device to listen for the sound creates as water blows out of the pipe where it is broken. The device I use also has filters to help eliminate the noise around the area such as airplanes, cars etc. To listen for leaks I must know where the pipeline is and be over the top of it. If the pipe is metal I can locate it with my pipe locator. If it is plastic I cut into the pipe and shove a cable down the pipe and then locate the cable thus locating the pipe. I then put the pipe back together and listen over the pipe.   What makes my business different besides the fees I charge (my fees continue to be the lowest in the area) is that I have the means to repair or replace the failure. What really makes me stand out among the rest is that I have the technology to replace a water line without having to dig up there entire yard, break up concrete or ruin landscaping. This is only an option if the pipe is plastic. I can do this on galvanized or metal pipe if it is no longer than 30 feet. This process takes a fraction of the time than the conventional method and costs typically about 33 to 45 percent of the conventional method. Also, on repairs I usually do not use anything other than a shovel and hand tools. This keeps the process clean and efficient. It also lessons the opportunity to damage other utilities in the ground, which happens quite often. The other things I do in my business are to install water meters, flow meters install, repair and maintain fire hydrants.
